Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Arusha. Relax and prepare for safari. Optional: Visit local markets or Cultural Heritage Centre. Overnight: Hotel in Arusha

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park (~2 hrs). Game drive: Elephants, baobab trees, lions, giraffes. Picnic lunch inside the park. Evening at a lodge overlooking the park. Overnight: Tarangire lodge/camp

Day 3

Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

Morning drive to Lake Manyara (~1.5 hrs). Game drive: Tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos. Visit Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural tour. Optional biking tour or banana plantation visit. Overnight: Lodge in Karatu or Lake Manyara area

Day 4

Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Scenic drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area (~4–5 hrs). Game drive en route. Enter Serengeti and begin wildlife spotting. Overnight: Tented camp or lodge in central Serengeti

Day 5

Full Day in Serengeti

Early morning game drive (best for predators). Optional: Hot air balloon safari (extra cost). Afternoon rest, then sunset game drive. Spot the Big Five and wildebeest migration (seasonal). Overnight: Serengeti camp/lodge

Day 6

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Sunrise game drive, then head to Ngorongoro. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge (famous archaeological site). Overnight on crater rim with stunning views. Overnight: Lodge on Ngorongoro Crater rim

Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. See rhinos, lions, zebras, and flamingos in the crater. Afternoon drive back to Arusha (~4–5 hrs). Overnight: Hotel in Arusha or fly to Zanzibar (optional)

Day 8

Departure or Zanzibar Extension

Depending on your flight, enjoy a relaxed morning. Optional visit to coffee plantations or Maasai village. Transfer to airport
